Live Training Accelerator Session

The GROW model is first introduced to new coaches on our introductory Foundation training. It gives a great framework for any coaching conversation, helping both the coach and the client. Indeed it is such a valuable tool for coaches that using the GROW model alone can help tip the conversation from being merely a useful chat towards becoming a valuable and productive coaching session.

The live training accelerator builds on that introduction to the GROW model, and concentrates particularly on the 'Goal’ and 'Reality’ elements.

Your trainer will take you through the purpose, impact and importance of goals in a live training accelerator that really gives you a sense of GROW in action. You will develop your goal-setting skills, moving from topic to session goals as you learn how to help a client onwards.

The concept of deep questioning is also introduced. You will learn about sequencing questions and the value of expertly summarising the client’s own words, and reflecting back to them what you have heard.

This training is all about getting the most out of GROW. You will continue your study with a session on understanding reality, and completing checks on what the client’s reality is. The training finishes with a look at how to identify obstacles to progress, and the importance of avoiding unhelpful assumptions.

This Accelerator furthers the knowledge gained on the introductory Foundation training. But it is very important to note that the six Live Accelerator sessions can be taken in any order.
