Life Coaching is the core discipline in our Personal Performance Diploma (PPD). The Personal Performance Diploma is our flagship programme which teaches you how to coach anyone at any level so that you can become the best professional coach you could possibly be.
In the Life Coaching & Personal Performance Diploma we will provide you with a huge toolkit of techniques that you can instantly apply to any niche. This diploma will teach you how to successfully coach individuals to achieve any goal they may have.

As a Coach your role will be to help clients define their needs, wants, ambitions and desires. The Personal Performance Diploma, will provide you with all of the knowledge and skills you'll need, to confidently Coach others.
Course Structure
Our syllabus is the most advanced in the UK, designed by professional coaches and endorsed by academic bodies.
You will receive an abundance of training materials containing 6 modules bursting with information and thought provoking activities. These will help you gain the knowledge required to shape the foundations of becoming an excellent coach.
Each module includes live virtual training webinars, (see below) which we call accelerator sessions as this is exactly what they will do - accelerate your learning, with the added bonus of meeting and developing your skills with like minded people.
To help cement your learning you will also:
- Receive a selection of videos, delivered through our online student area.
- Have lifetime access to our dedicated members resource centre.
- Be provided with tools to use directly with your coaching clients.
- Experience 100's of recorded seminars to hear from experts on how they use Coaching in their field of expertise around the world.
If that isn't enough, you will be invited to join in on the regular live webinars that discuss the finer art of the coaching core competencies.

Fit the training around your busy life
Within days of registration our courier will deliver your training materials - so if you want to, you can begin your studies immediately. Alternatively, you can start at any time that suits. This is adult education and our programmes have been designed for busy people giving you flexibility to fit your studies around life's priorities. Whenever you are in a position to begin, the Welcome Letter you receive will give you a simple, clear set of bullets to explain how to get going.
You'll consolidate your learning from the initial free introductory training and soon begin the exciting journey working through the range of multimedia resources. From the workbooks and insightful exercises within, to the many audio and visual materials that you can access online from wherever you are in the world.
World-class, lifetime support
You'll soon be practising your burgeoning coaching skills with friends and family as well as your fellow coaches in training, building your confidence and competence that will help you become the best coach that you can be. All the while supported by the fantastic Coaching Academy Support Team whom are with you throughout your training to discuss both the challenges you may be facing and to celebrate your many successes!
You are given access to a private Members' Area full of a wealth of resources including sample contracts, client sheets, checklists and a whole library of archived Webinars. You'll also be able to join our online global Coaching Community.
Study in the comfort of your own home
It won't take long and you'll be ready to attend your first live Accelerator Training.
Let us know which day you would like to attend, live online (we advertise our dates at least six months in advance on our website) and we'll take care of the rest. The diploma qualification consists of six live Accelerator training sessions, with one running every month so again you can fit the live training around your life.
How long does it take to qualify?
We don't impose a deadline on you finishing the Diploma, you can fit the training in around the important things in your life and complete the qualification at your own speed. Anything from nine to eighteen months is typical. Ultimately however there's never a point in time in which you are unable to qualify. Just in the same way that as a coach, you'll empower your clients to take ownership and responsibility for their lives, we do the same with you. You coach at times to suit, with whomever you wish to work with, completing the materials at your leisure, attending the live training online, to fit around your life, qualifying in a timeframe that works for you.
The Personal Performance Diploma is our flagship programme endorsed and accredited but the ICF (International Coaching Federation) should you wish to gain the dual qualification and gain the SFEDDI level 5 and the added assessment please request this information on the consultation call with the admissions team - we are here to support all training requirements and needs.
Tailored learning to suit every preference
It's layered learning so between each live training module there are webinars to watch, teleclasses to listen to, live coaching to carry out, attend the live training sessions and let one of our assessors listen to you coach a practice client at different intervals throughout your learning journey and with a little bit of help from us you have done all that is needed to complete your qualification.

How to Qualify
There are clear steps to qualifying which are approached in a supportive manner:
- Work through the modules and supporting resources online
- Attend the six live online accelerator training modules
- Carry out a minimum of 39 coaching sessions. Your coaching will be 'observed' throughout your studies by members of the assessment and verification team where you will receive vital feedback to embed into your coaching skills. You will be required to maintain a learning log of your progress
- Attend the virtual online group and one to one mentoring sessions
- Attend the virtual online coaching skills webinars
- Complete a 3000 word written paper based on a 10 question framework

Enrolment Fees
Should you wish to apply to enrol on a Diploma programme, our fees are simple and easy to understand. Each Diploma has an enrolment fee of £3,997 + vat, with a number of funding options available.
Bursary Funding
The Bursary funding offers a contribution towards your enrolment fee if you are self-funding - generally speaking around £1,000 per Diploma, although it does vary a little. The Coaching Academy launched our Bursary funding programme in 2012 as a financial award to support prospective students who are self-funding one or more Diplomas with us.
Payment Plans
Some people may need to spread their enrolment fee over a period of time. We offer tailored, interest free payment plans to successful applicants however, these cannot be guaranteed until we have spoken directly to you.
Why do we offer it?
The Coaching Academy are very aware that for some people, funding frustration can be a problem. Lack of funds prevent potentially great coaches from developing the skills required to break free and open up new possibilities through the acquisition of coaching skills - Our funding programme unlocks opportunity and releases potential.
